Lesson from a Couple of Candles

So, I got a couple of couple candles. That is, I got a feminine orange rust one to go with a navy dark blue masculine one and made a couple set. Then I got another such set. I have been persistently using all four candles to light up my room for my creative light. I was thinking about how it is probably excessive fire, excessive waste for the sake of beauty and symmetry that I am trying to create in my room.

I saw today that the orange candles in both sets of candles had smothered the flame of the dark blue ones in both sets by melting their orange/rust wax so that the beauty of the couple of candles died. One without the other, not so nice.

I realized that although I provided a candle tray for both candle couples’ wax melt from falling onto the floor, I did not create enough space for and between each candle couple so that one does not smother the other with its melted wax to support sustenance of the partnership in emitting pretty light. Thank you, candles.

Symbolism of a Gold Ring

The spiritual gift that I kept getting in my last two meditations wasn't making much sense to me. A gold ring, with some stone in the middle. Reminded me of the kind I used to have when I was younger. I was pretty sure google would give my myriad symbol explanations, but there really were very few links to browse through. Surprisingly enough, Catcher in the Rye came up in google search. And surprisingly enough, I was very recently having conversations about the book and internally thought about Holden and how I was perhaps acting similar to Holden recently - even said some things similar to what he would say.

Apparently, Holden is happiest in the book when he finally realizes that one cannot prevent growth - and hurt is perhaps a natural step towards growth - that he should allow Phoebe, his sister, to go through it. (Source: https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090521203307AA7HyR5)

Other websites also lightly mention that gold represents transition or growth. Wonder if I am really in a transition or my visuals are just random visuals my mind is connecting. I enjoy this mysterious perhaps non-existent Universal love and conspiracy all meant for me somehow. *love*

Coffee Budget of an Economics Student

You know you're spending too much of your money on coffee when you have two employees at an already pricey coffee shop (who are accustomed to coffee being expensive) exclaim that the customizing you want on your coffee will make for one heck of an expensive coffee.

$9.50 is what I paid. I thought it was worth it actually. No regrets only thankfulness. Sipping on this right now as we speak. I am just happy this particular taste exists and I was able to purchase it at a price I think I can fit into my budget.

Making and holding space

"Tolerating the void is not for the faint of heart. It's for the warriors, those ready to battle with those fears that might speak up, if given half the chance." - KWT
